Carib Territory

The stands selling baskets and knickknacks that you can get anywhere on the island.

This butterfly landed on Nicks hat. We thought it was a bird, but it was just a giant Butterfly.

So the spouses club planned a trip to Emerald pool and carib territory and it ended up beaing half our branch on the trip. It was fun to see more of the island. In carib territory we stopped to buy some cassava bread.

This is the cassava plant. They use the roots for the cassava bread.

This is the wheel. I think they use it to squeeze the juice out of the cassava. the juice is bitter and contains cyanide. The leaves cannot be eaten raw and they need to squeeze out as much juice as possible.

He pulls the already squeezed and shredded cassava out of this to cook.

This looks like a giant cheese shredder and that I guess is basically the gist of it except for cassava.

and this is what it'll look like its pretty good. It tastes like sweet bread.
