Our September In A Nut Shell

So I realized I haven't really mentioned much about Steve's medical training so now seems like a good time since these pictures give a pretty accurate description of what's going on at the house besides sleep deprivation.

So here we go. Steve went through his second match last year. It is definitely no party but we got through. Steve interviewed in Muncie Indiana, Portland Oregon, Saginaw Michigan, and Detroit Michigan. We were kind of hoping to get into the Program in Muncie and even went to their second interview, but that didn't work out and here we are back in Saginaw. We're pretty happy though. Its nice being back with old friends and housing is cheaper. Steve's first month here was really easy. Last year he had a crazy first month and was a little overloaded. This residency Program gives you a month to orient yourself. which for Steve was a bit of a joke. He's worked here before and did a year in Internal Medicine which would make him a star here. Then his second month was orthopedics. which was convenient since it has shorter hours and he was able to be home with us a lot more. Oh and in case you hadn't heard he's in a Family Medicine Program. Anyway he's done Ob/Gyn, Pediatrics and Family rotations and its been pretty good.
